The Telangana government today launched 'Basti Dawakhanas' (local area hospitals) here for providing basic medical care to the citizens locally.
State Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao inaugurated a 'Basti Dawakhana' at BJR Nagar, Malkajgiri here along with Health Minister C Laxma Reddy and city Mayor B Rammohan.
A government relese said 1,000 'Basti Dawakhanas' would be established in the city.
