Lone elderly woman robbed

A septuagenarian woman staying
alone at a flat in southern Kolkata was today robbed of cash and valuables by three unknown persons.
Bimala Gupta, 71, lodged a complaint with the Lake Police Station alleging that three unknown persons forcibly entered into her apartment at Jodhpur Gardens and robbed her of Rs 25,000 in cash, gold and silver ornaments as well as a mobile phone after tying her up, the police said.
A probe into the incident has started, the police said.
