The maximum temperature rose to 38.8 degrees Celsius at Kangra, followed by Sundernagar 37.9 degrees Celsius, Nahan and Bhuntar 36.0 degrees Celsius, Dharamsala 33.4 degrees Celsius, Solan 33.2 degrees Celsius, Shimla 28.1 degrees Celsius, Manali 26.0 degrees Celsius and Kalpa 24.2 degrees Celsius, three to five degree above normal.
