LS polls: Manpreet Singh Ayali is SAD nominee from Ludhiana

Ruling Shiromani Akali Dal in Punjab today declared Manpreet Singh Ayali as party candidate from Ludhiana Lok Sabha constituency.
SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal made the announced today.
The party had earlier announced six candidates, including sitting MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal, wife of Sukhbir, from Bhatinda. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa will be the party's candidate from Sangrur.
The other candidates of the party are Ranjit Singh Brahampura from Khadoor Sahib, Prem Singh Chandumajra from Anandpur Sahib, Pawan Tinoo from Jalandhar and Kulwant Singh from Fatehgarh Sahib.
The party had changed its candidates from Anandpur Sahib, Jalandhar and Fatehgarh Sahib seats which went to the kitty of Congress at the last hustings.
While Daljeet Singh Cheema had lost from Anandpur Sahib, singer-turned-politician Hansraj Hans lost from Jalandhar seat.
Khadoor Sahib seat is held by Rattan Singh Ajnala, but he had been replaced by another senior party leader Brahmpura.
Both Tinoo and Kulwant are relatively new faces to contest the Lok Sabha polls.
There are 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab.
At present SAD had five seats in its kitty while its ally BJP one and rest are with the Congress.
As per seat sharing formula SAD will contest on ten seats while its ally BJP three.
