M I Patel named secretary of AICC's minority department

Congress today appointed M I Patel as the secretary of the Minority Department of the AICC and also announced names of chairmen of minority departments in five states including Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
While Tariq Siddiqui was made chief of the minority department in Uttar Pradesh, Minatullah Rehmani was appointed to the post in Bihar.
Heads of minority departments in other states are M M Sheikh (Maharashtra), Amjad Khan (Punjab) and Raauma Gulabkhan (Gujarat). Nizamuddin Rayeen was named the chief for Mumbai.
Shakeel Ekta has been made coordinator of the minority department in Jharkhand, an AICC announcement said.
