"Government of India has appointed M K Goel as Chairman and Managing Director, Power Finance Corporation for a period of 5 years or till his superannuation, whichever is earlier," PFC said in a release.
The Commercial Director of the company has been holding the additional charge since September 13, 2013. Goel is an electrical engineer by profession and has an experience of 35 years in the power sector.
Goel has been with PFC for more than 26 years.
