Madan Lal Meena appointed DG, CAPART

Senior IAS officer Madan Lal Meena was today appointed as Director General of Council for Advancement of People's Action and Rural Technology (CAPART).
The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approved appointment of Meena, a 1983 batch IAS officer of West Bengal cadre, as DG, CAPART in the pay scale of Additional Secretary, an official order said.
Meena is presently working as Deputy Director General, CAPART, an autonomous body working under the aegis of Rural Development Ministry which assist over 12,000 voluntary organisations across the country in implementing a wide range of development initiatives.
The ACC has approved appointment of Jitendra Kumar Dadoo as Additional Secretary in Ministry of Commerce by temporary upgrading the post held by him. Dadoo is a a 1983 batch IAS officer of union territories cadre.
