Madrassa teacher held for 'sexually abusing' 4 minor girls

A 26-year-old Madrassa teacher was today taken into custody for allegedly sexually abusing four minor girls at Muzhakunnu in the district, police said.
The accused had allegedly been sexually abusing the girls, all aged 11 and 4th-standard students in the Madrassa at Muzhakunnu Chakkada, for some time, they added.
The parents of the girls, who noticed a change in their behaviour, lodged a police complaint on March 12.
The teacher has been absconding since then, police said.
