Two people have been arrested and 69 crude bombs seized from them in Hatkalangane tehsil of Maharashtra's Kolhapur district, police said on Tuesday.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided a house in Mudshingi village of the tehsil and arrested Vilas Jadhav and Ananda Jadhav after making the seizure, an official said.
"The bombs contain sulphur and potassium powder. The accused have told us that the bombs were assembled at home to hunt wild pigs," he said.
"We are investigating if they have any connection to Friday's incident in which a truck driver was killed after he handled some object lying by the Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway," he added.
Dattatray Patil, a 45-year-old truck driver, was killed in an explosion near Kolhapur at around 11:30pm on Friday.
He had stopped there after his truck broke down.
