The scheme, named after B R Ambedkar, is meant for the Dalit entrepreneurs in the fields of production and services.
The decision was taken at a state Cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Under the scheme, 20 per cent plots for small and medium scale industries with Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) will be reserved for the Dalits.
The plots in MIDC area will be made available at 30 per cent concession in rate whereas plots in other areas will be available at 20 per cent concession.
There will be no cap on income to launch any business. Only one person from each family will be entitled to benefits under the scheme.
