Mahindra Logistics Wednesday said it has appointed Rampraveen Swaminathan as its next Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effect from October 1, 2019.
Swaminathan will replace Pirojshaw Sarkari, who will be moving to another significant role within the Mahindra Group, Mahindra Logistics Ltd (MLL) said in a statement.
The appointment comes at the end of a detailed search undertaken by the board as a part of succession planning process, it added.
Swaminathan will join MLL as the CEO-designate and will work closely with Sarkari to ensure a smooth transition.
"The Board believes that he (Swaminathan) is the right person to lead MLL in the next phase of our growth," MLL Chairman of the Board Zhooben Bhiwandiwala said.
