Fire Brigade sources said the flames, which started from the quality testing centre at around 3-30 am, later spread to adjacent parts including the paints godown, but there was no casualty.
Thirty-one fire tenders were pressed into service to put off the blaze which was finally contained around 10 am.
A fire services personnel fell sick during the operations but was discharged later.
The facility was spread over 20,000 square feet area, some of the workers present said.
"The fire broke out early this morning and we are investigating the reason behind the incident," the spokesperson said.
Fire services personnel were busy removing the debris from the site.
