Make people aware of govt schemes: Raje to officials

Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje today asked the officials to make the people aware of the details of various government schemes so that they can avail of their benefits.
Chairing review meetings of budget announcements related with different departments, Raje said that several beneficiaries fail to take advantages of schemes just because they are not literate or aware of the schemes so the officers should ensure that no beneficiary is left uncovered with the benefits of the schemes.
She also directed the officers to clear the pendening cases of labour registration, regular verification of beneficiaries of various social sector schemes on yearly basis, efforts to curb malnutrition, improvement in old age homes among others.

Ministers and officers of the departments of labour, employment and skill development, technical education, social justice and empowerment, tribal area development, medical and health education departments were present.
