Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik today called on his Bihar counterpart Lalji Tandon and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
The former Bihar Governor came here a day after assuming his new gubernatorial assignment in the restive state.
According to a Raj Bhavan release here, both Malik and Tandon "exchanged greetings and best wishes for their respective assignments".
Tandon was sworn in as the 39th Governor of Bihar yesterday. He had returned to Lucknow after the ceremony and returned this evening, the release said.
Malik also met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at his official residence 1, Anney Marg. Kumar warmly welcomed Mallik, presenting him with a bouquet.
Malik was sworn in as Bihar Governor on October 4 last year.
