Mall announces launches of audio-tactile labelling system

Viviana Mall announced the launch of an audio-tactile labelling system at all stores and outlets in Thane to ensure that visually challenged shoppers could buy its wares.
During the event an audio tactile floor plan was also unveiled.
In addition, the mall has actively embarked on a process to make all its restaurant menus fully accessible in terms of sight, touch and hearing.
"The idea is to ensure that visually impaired shoppers get to enjoy the mall experience with total independence," Director of Xavier's Resource Centre for the Visually Challenged, Sam Taraporewala, who was present on the occassion.
