Monroe made the song famous by singing 'Happy Birthday Mr President' in a sultry tone for the 45th birthday of US president John F Kennedy in 1962.
Mallika, who is known for posting photographs where she is seen posing with Hollywood celebrities, decided to borrow it by posting a YouTube link of the song to her 1,083,621 followers on Twitter.
"I want to send a birthday wish to the most eligible bachelor of India," said Mallika before singing "Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday Narendraji. Happy Birthday Narendra Modiji. Happy Birthday Narendraji."
