BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya today said West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee should ask those ministers in her cabinet, whose names have figured in the Narada sting operation, to resign.
"She should ask those ministers, against whom the CBI has already registered cases, to resign," he said here.
The central probe agency had filed an FIR on April 17 against 12 top Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders, including MPs and ministers, in connection with the Narada sting operation.
Banerjee, the TMC supremo, had alleged that it was a "political game" and asserted that her party would fight it "politically".
Vijayvargiya alleged that corruption was rampant "everywhere" in West Bengal and the people of the state were "disenchanted" with the TMC.
He claimed that the number of cases of atrocities against women was the "highest" in West Bengal, a state led by a woman chief minister.
