The accused identified as Amir Hussain Shah was arrested last evening when police raided his house in Dharana village of the remote Mendhar area of the Poonch district.
"On specific information, police team last evening conducted a raid in village Dharana of Mendhar and arrested Amir Hussain Shah along with two Pakistani mobile SIM cards," a police officer said.
He said that the SIM cards have been seized and Shah was arrested under various sections of Ranbir Penal Code and prevention of unlawful activities.
