Man dies while trying to resolve quarrel between two groups

A man died while trying to make peace between two quarrelling groups at Sanjay Colony here, police said today.
Ramdhan (60), a resident of the colony, was trying to mediate between Michael and Musafir, who were engaged in a quarrel. During the tussle, Ramdhan allegedly collapsed on the ground and died, police said.
Relatives of Ramdhan claim that he was beaten and hit during the quarrel leading to his death.
Police have registered a murder case based on their complaint and have sent the body for post-mortem.
Mujesar police in-charge Jitendra Daanda said the case was suspicious as there was no injury on Ramdhan's body and added investigations were on.
