Man electrocuted in J&K

A 30-year-old-man was electrocuted while pruning a poplar tree in Bandipora district of north Kashmir today.
Ali Mohammad Battoo, a resident of Nowgam, was pruning a poplar tree near his house in Sumbal area when he accidentally came in contact with a live wire and died on the spot, a police spokesperson said.
The body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites after completion of legal formalities, he said.
