Man found hanging from a tree

Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Ram Niranjan Singh said, "The deceased Rajendra Dom was shot dead by some gunmen who later hanged him from a tree."

The body was recovered and sent for postmortem, he said.

The victim's wife Lalita Devi lodged an FIR against three persons charging them with murder of her husband, SDO said.

Meanwhile, local people blocked road demanding arrest of the culprits and compensation to the victim's family.
