A suicide note was found near the body of the victim, Vishal Sharma (29), in which he had apologised to the manager of the guesthouse and also alleged siphoning off money by his employees to the tune of around Rs 3.5 lakh, police said.
Kumar had reportedly checked into the guesthouse on October 15. He was supposed to be leaving for Delhi but yesterday evening he was found hanging from the ceiling fan of the room, they said.
The manager said Kumar was a frequent visitor to his guesthouse but denied knowing about him, they said, adding, investigation in the matter was on.
