Man held for duping woman after making friends on Facebook

A resident of the Vijay Nagar area here was today arrested for allegedly duping a woman of lakhs of rupees after befriending her on a social networking site, police said.
According to police, the arrested person, identified as one Raghuveer Singh, had approached Devika, hailing from Gujarat, on Facebook.
Raghuveer got in touch with Devika, an agent with an insurance company, and then enticed her into putting her money into a game which promised quick returns.
Devika claimed in her complaint that she was duped to the tune of Rs 1.10 crore, police said.
