The accused, Rajesh L, allegedly raped the 17-year-old girl on November 25.
Rajesh, working as a machine operator in a plastic company, had lured into love the girl who was also working at the unit, according to police.
He allegedly took the teenager to a workers' room and raped her, a Hayath Nagar police station official said.
Rajesh dropped the girl near a bus stop on November 27 afternoon and fled, he said.
A case was registered against Rajesh on charge of rape and kidnap under relevant sections of the IPC.
