The police have arrested Laxman Gaikwad (65) and his sons, Sakharam (20) and Ram (24), for beating to death his another son Prakash (30) with whom they often had quarrels over his drinking habit.
The incident took place yesterday in Gerale village of the district when the trio picked up a scuffle with Prakash and bashed him severely, API Mansingh Patil of Safala police station said.
They have been booked under IPC sections 302 (murder), 504 (intentional insult), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and further probe into the matter was on, he said.
