A compensation of Rs 1,218.85 crore to Haryana was released for the period of 2010-11.
Haryana had been pressing the Central Government for release of the payment on account of CST compensation, an official release said here today.
It further stated that the Chief Minister had written a semi-official letter to the Union Finance Minister on February 6 for releasing the pending amount.
