A 28-year-old man killed his
father after the duo, who were in an inebriated state, had a tiff over a petty issue, police said today.
According to the police, Manjeet slashed the neck of his father, identified as Dilip Singh (66), a farmer, with a sharp-edged weapon last evening in west Delhi's Bawana area after a heated argument. Manjeet fled from the spot soon after the incident.
The incident took place on a street which was close to the father-son duo's residence. They were heavily drunk when the incident took place, said an eyewitness.
"A case has been registered and a manhunt has been launched to nab Manjeet," said a police official.
