The bodies of 35-year-old Jai Veer Gulia and Sunita (28) were found from a car near JLN Canal at Ghazi Gopalpur village yesterday.
Sunita's husband Pawan Kumar in his complaint to the police stated that Jai Veer, who was already married, was in love with his wife but she was not responding to his overtures, police said.
Yesterday, Jai Veer kidnapped Sunita shot her dead and later committed suicide, police said. A case was registered and the bodies were handed over to the respective families after post mortem examination.
