Lala (45) strangulated Bani Singh who was sleeping on top of a tubewell today evening as the latter did not transfer 10 bighas of land to him.
Lala is absconding and efforts are on to trace him, SHO, Khurja police station, Sudhir Tyagi said, adding that the body Singh has been sent for post mortem.
