Special Judge of Scheduled Cast and Scheduled Tribe court of Baran district, Kishan Chand Gujjar, held Safar Mohammad alias Golu (25) guilty of the crime yesterday, Special Public Prosecutor (SPP), Tejendra Sharma, said today.
Terming the crime as "heinous and unpardonable", the court ruled that the convict shall not be able to avail any parole or relaxation in his sentence from the Centre or state government.
In 2012, Mohammad raped and murdered the minor girl in Lanka colony area of Baran city and threw her body nearby a temple premises.
As many as 20 witnesses were produced during the trial that lasted around four years.
