The accused, Rakesh Kahar, called his cousin Nitesh over phone last evening and told him to visit his home to know the well-being of his family members.
On reaching Kahar's home, Nitesh found the door locked from outside. When he enquired, Kahar informed Nitesh on phone about the place where he had kept the keys.
When Nitesh opened the door of the house, he was shocked to find the three bodies lying inside.
"The police recovered the bodies of Rakesh Kahar's wife Sangeeta (28), his daughter Saloni (8) and son Saurabh (7) from their residence," Timarni's Sub-Divisional Officer of Police Rajiv Vyas said.
Police have registered a case against the accused, who is absconding, Vyas said.
Kahar was unemployed since the past two months but there was no family dispute, Sangeeta's father told police.
