Sumit hailing from Jaunpur district was killed last night by his friend Tahir following a tiff over some trivial issues, Indirapuram police station SHO Virendra Singh Yadav said.
Tahir has been arrested, the SHO said, adding that the body of Sumit has been sent for a post-mortem.
In another incident, a 60-year-old man today allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a train in Gadh area of neighbouring Hapur district, police said.
The body is yet to be identified, police said, adding it has been sent for post-mortem.
