Man stripped naked, threatened at gun-point in Thane

A 30-year-old laundry employee of in Bhiwandi town of Thane was allegedly threatened at gun-point and stripped naked by two persons, police said today.
The victim, working with the OmSai Power Laundry at Kamathghar of Bhiwandi, was dragged out of the shop on the night of June 9 by the two men, identified as Raju (25) and Ravi (30), Bhiwandi town police station inspector C R Pawar said.
They allegedly pointed a revolver at him and asked him if he had complained about them to police.
The duo then kicked him and stripped him naked. They also threatened him with dire consequences if he informed about the incident to anyone and fled from there, Pawar said.

The victim was scared and did not complain about the offence at that time.
He informed the police yesterday about the incident following which offences were registered against the two persons under sections 452 (house-trespass after preparation for hurt, assault or wrongful restraint), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 506(2) (criminal intimidation), 504 rw 34 of the IPC and other relevant sections of the Arms Act and, police said.
Meanwhile, Bhiwandi police today learnt that the two accused were recently arrested by the crime unit of Mumbai police in connection with a case under Arms Act, Pawar added.
