Maoists attack CRPF personnel in J'khand

Maoists attacked CRPF personnel today in Jharkhand's Latehar district but none was injured.
"The CRPF personnel were returning to their place when the Maoists opened fire. The jawans also retaliated in the ensuing brief encounter," Superintendent of Police Michael S Raj told PTI.
Polling for the Assembly was held in Lathehar yesterday in the first phase along with other Maoist-hit areas.
Raj said the polling personnel were airlifted and were not with the CRPF battalion.
