The 44-year-old comedian will star on the series, which has obtained a 13-episode series order from Netflix, reported Aceshowbiz.
The single-camera half-hour comedy, which is executive produced by Mitch Hurwitz, Bamford and PamBrady, is inspired by Bamford's life.
The premiere date of the comedy show has not been decided yet.
Bamford previously starred on web series "The Maria Bamford Show" and appeared as DeBrie Bardeaux, Tobias Funke's love interest, on "Arrested Development" season 4.
