Max temps continue to hover above normal in Punjab, Haryana
Press Trust of India Chandigarh Maximum temperatures today continued to hover above normal limits across Haryana and Punjab with the joint capital Chandigarh recording a high of 36 degrees Celsius.
In Haryana, Hisar experienced a hot day with maximum temperature of 39.5 degrees Celsius, up by four notches against normal, while Ambala registered a high of 37.3 degrees Celsius, the MeT department here said.
Karnal registered a maximum temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius.
In Punjab, Patiala recorded a high of 37.9 degrees Celsius. Ludhiana, too, experienced a hot day at 36.8 degrees Celsius, while Amritsar registered a maximum temperature of 34.8 degrees Celsius.
