MCX shares jump over 11% on heavy buying

Shares of Multi Commodity Exchange of India today soared over 11 per cent on heavy buying in line with a bullish stock market.
FTIL-promoted MCX's shares ended 10.86 per cent higher at Rs 524.10 on the BSE. During the day, the scrip zoomed 13.56 per cent to Rs 536.90.
At the NSE, the scrip shot-up by 11.23 per cent to Rs 525.50.
In terms of volume, 16.61 lakh shares of the company changed hands at the BSE, while over 44 lakh shares were traded at the NSE during the day.
MCX was the top gainer at the BSE.
Shares of FTIL also gained 2.12 per cent to settle at Rs 320.15.
Meanwhile, interest rate futures started trading in MCX Stock Exchange today.
In the broader market, the BSE benchmark Sensex gained 141.43 points to 21,205.05.
