Medium sugar ends lower at Vashi wholesale market

Medium sugar prices declined at the Vashi wholesale market today on lower demand from stockists and retailers amid ample supply position.
While, small sugar closed mixed owing to alternate bouts of buying and selling.
Medium sugar (M-30) slipped by Rs 6 per quintal to Rs 3,630/3,812 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 3,636/3,812.
While, small sugar (S-30) was quoted at Rs 3,582/3,682 as compared to Rs 3,586/3,665 yesterday.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,582/3,682 (Rs 3,586/3,665).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,630/3,812 (Rs 3,636/3,812).
