Meghalaya woman referee to officiate in SA U-15 girls football
Meghalayas woman football referee, Ri-iohlang Dhar, will be officiating at the South Asian U-15 girls football tournament in Bhutan next month, a Meghalaya Football Association (MFA) official said here today.
Dhar, one of the three FIFA women referees in India, successfully completed the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) course for 'elite' referees last month, the official said.
The official said Dhar was selected to officiate at the prestigious South Asian U-15 girls tournament in Bhutan next month after she completed the AFC elite referees course.
When contacted, Dhar said she attended the elite referee coaching in Malaysia from June 25-28.
Dhar had officiated in this year's Indian Womens League football match held here.
