In line with judicial pronouncements on the issue, a government spokesman said no step would be taken in such cases without due consideration of the suitability of the employee for any other post.
Also, care would be taken to see that the employee in question receives proper counselling about his rights.
Various state departments have been told to follow whatever compassionate assistance scheme was in place for them regarding granting of employment to the dependants of such employees.
