Minor girl raped in Haryana

A 15-year-old girl was
allegedly raped by a youth who intruded into her house in South Colony here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when Rajpal Gujjar intruded into his neighbour's house and allegedly raped the house owner's teenaged girl, a student of Class X, who was alone in the building at that time, they said.
According to police, when the girl resisted, Rajpal threatened her with dire consequences warning her not to disclose the incident to anyone, police said.
However, the victim narrated the incident to her parents after which the police was informed.
Following a complaint by the victim last evening, the police have registered a case of rape and criminal intimidation against the accused Rajpal.

A senior police official said that efforts were on to apprehend the accused Rajpal, who was absconding.
