Minor raped by 30-year-old neighbour

A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour at Chitpur in the northern part of the city, police said today.
The girl and the 30-year-old neighbour are tenants in the same house at Lala Babu Lane at Chitpur and the incident took place last night.
The man allegedly took the girl to a nearby vacant godown on the pretext of giving her chocolates and raped her, the victim's mother alleged in her complaint to the police.
Based on the complaint, police today arrested the man, the police said adding a case have been registered against him.
The medical test of the girl was conducted and reports are awaited, the police said.
