Moderate quake jolts China's Xinjiang region

The quake hit the Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture of Bayingolin at 10:08 pm (local time), the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC) reported.
The US Geological Survey put the earthquake at 5.3-magnitude, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
There were no reports of casualties and damage.
