The state has so far received 161.8 mm of average rainfall against normal rainfall of 185.3 mm, the MeT Department said.
Baijnath in Kangra district was wettest in the region with 75 mm rains while Sarkaghar and Jubbal received 54 mm and 49 mm rains, followed by Kheri 44 mm, Rohru 29 mm , Rampur 24 mm , Palampur 20 mm, Sarahan 15 mm, Khadrala and Paonta Sahib 9 mm, Kasauli and Jogindernagar 7 mm and Nahan 6 mm.
The minimum temperatures remained one to two degree above normal and Manali and Kalpa were coldest in the region with a low of 15.0 degrees, followed by Keylong 15.5 degrees, Shimla 16.0 degrees, Dharamsala 16.2 degrees, Palampur 20.0 degrees, Solan 20.5 degrees, Nahan 21.2 degrees, Bhuntar 22.4 degrees, Sundernagar 23.3 degrees and Una 26.8 degrees Celsius.
The MeT Department has forecast rains and thundershowers at many places in lower, mid and higher hills during the next six days from July 12 to 17.
