In the first semifinal played at Paljor Stadium, Mohan Bagan dominated ONGC Mumbai right from the word go and led by 1-0 at half time. Striker P D Dicka scored the first goal for the Kolkata team in ninth minute.
The second half began on buoyant note for Mohan Bagan with G A Kramah scoring a brace (46th and 61st minutes) to make it 3-0.
Dicka struck his second goal in 78th minute and NH Shrestha scored in 88th minute to make it 5-0 for Mohan Bagan.
