The Chief Minister today decided this during a meeting of Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath Vikas Board constituted for development of Sri Valmiki Ashram (Ram Tirath) under the chairmanship of minister Gulzar Singh Ranike.
Taking part in deliberations, Badal said the new temple would be constructed at a cost of Rs 115 crore and would be an engineering marvel.
He asked the architecture department of Guru Nanak Dev University to design and supervise the construction work besides providing structural designs within next two months and also approved a corpus of Rs 10 crore to be kept at the Board's disposal for routine expenditure.
