The Madhya Pradesh High Court Friday dismissed the bail application of a woman charged with abetting the suicides of her husband and mother-in-law.
According to the court order, Sanjay Singh Parmar (35) and his mother Pan Kunwar alias Nanhaju (70) committed suicide by hanging themselves at their residence on August 4 this year.
Following investigations, Dehat police in Tikamgarh had arrested the applicant woman on August 22 for allegedly physically and mentally torturing the two deceased.
She has been in judicial custody since her arrest in August.
In its order Friday, a single bench of Justice Mohammad Fahim refused bail to the accused.
