MP: Leopard run over on national highway
A leopard was allegedly run over by an unidentified vehicle on a national highway in Madhya Pradesh's Shivpuri district, a forest official said on Wednesday.
The two-year-old leopard was found dead on the National Highway no. 3 on Tuesday evening, conservator forest Y P Satyam said.
The animal had been run over by an unidentified vehicle and had died on the spot, he said, adding that forest officials were probing the incident.
