Tarsinh Ninama, a resident of Jhabua in Madhya Pradesh, allegedly lured the two-year-old girl with a chocolate, took her away to a nearby field and raped her, after which he returned her to her parents, police said.
The victim sustained severe bruises and her private parts were bleeding, and has been admitted to hospital, police said, adding that the FSL team also collected evidence from the spot.
Ninama, a casual labourer, is a relative of the girl's parents, who have been working as casual labourers in Vadodara, the police said.
