Following this, the BDCA has invited Aqueel to attend its meeting scheduled this evening.
Aqueel was elected as President of BDCA in an election held on April 13, but BJP MLA Dhruv Narayan Singh, who heads a rival group, has said that election was illegal.
MPCA had sent three observers for the election, but it has decided not to send any observers for the AGM to be held by the group led by Dhruv Narayan Singh.
Aqueel told PTI that now there was no controversy about who really headed the BDCA as his group had been recognised by the MPCA.
